Access to and visualization of climate data

CLIMAP-net enables the query and visualization of meteorological and climatological data. With access to the database, you can download measured values from MeteoSwiss at home or at work - in the form of diagrams, tables or maps. Various functions make navigation through the measured values easier, enable you to print out or save the output window and allow automatic data updates. It is possible to scroll through the data in all forms of display, from one measuring time to the next or back.

Flexible and individual

The configuration of the workplace is flexible and the stations and parameters can be put together individually. Over 250 parameters and around 1'000 stations are available. The most frequent queries can be predefined as macros and then initiated easily using function keys. We offer a predefined standard configuration or design individual configurations according to your specified needs!
Do you have your own measuring stations that you also want to display using CLIMAP-net? This is also possible! Further data sources can be made accessible by arrangement with MeteoSwiss. Please contact us.

Conditions

CLIMAP-net is a platform-independent application and is started up directly via an Internet browser. For a successful start-up JavaWebStart (freeware) must be installed on the appropriate computer. In addition, the computer must be registered at MeteoSwiss.

The amount of the data fee depends on the configuration and the use of the data (calculation according to our legal basis). Data fees for standard configuration.
